CAYUCOS SURF LESSONS
Our epic surf lessons offer a private and personalized experience, tailored to your individual needs and desires by expert surf instructors. Join us for an awesome surfing adventure that you will never forget.

Step 1: Decide which one of the three lesson options available that you would like to book (ages 6+).
Step 2: Text or call James (949) 464-7123 to check scheduling prior to payment.
Step 3: Complete credit card payment online. Cash or Venmo are options as well. On this site card transactions require an additional 4% charge.
Step 4: Bring your towel, sunscreen, bathing suit, warm layers, and drinking water. Boards & wetsuits are included in your lesson and provided by us!

Meet James
I have been surfing since age 7 and have also been instructing since 2014. I love the ocean and enjoy getting to help people of all ages, and skill levels. I am certified in CPR/ first aid & surf instructor safety training. Surfing is not just a sport. The ocean is for healing, fun, and recreation. Salt water is medicine.
I grew up in Southern California, and have surfed breaks from San Diego to San Fransisco. My favorite break in California is San Onofre A.K.A. Old Mans which is a world class longboarding wave. I have also been blessed to surf around the world in Mexico, Fiji, Australia, Hawaii, Costa Rica, and my personal favorite Nicaragua.
Outside of the water I enjoy being a Father, Fiancé, Dog Dad, Mentor, & Substance Abuse Counselor. I have also developed a separate surf therapy program (Serene Waters Adventure Therapy) for people recovering from substance use disorders, & other mental health disorders. The program incorporates, surfing, mindfulness, empowerment, & connection. I can't wait to meet you. Surfing is for everyone. Let's go surf!
