Serene Waters Surf Adventures is a surf school committed to sharing the joy and excitement of the ocean with individuals of all ages. Our mission is to provide surf lessons and camps that are life-changing and unforgettable. We cater to Orange County, and the Central Coast of California. We also offer options to explore the entire California coastline.

At the helm of our surf school is James, an avid waterman and our lead surf instructor. He has been surfing since the young age of 7, starting off at Zuma Beach. Over the years, he has surfed at numerous classic legendary breaks in Southern California, including San Onofre, Doheny, and Newport Beach. In addition to this, James has also surfed at various breaks around the globe, from Fiji and Mexico to Hawaii, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Australia. He is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys camping and cherishes his family. James is a father to two dogs and has been leading surf groups and providing instruction since 2014. He is certified in CPR and First Aid, and has also undergone training in surf instructor water safety.
