Summer Surf Camp

Summer Surf Camps: Experience the thrill of riding waves at our surf camp. We are offering 8 weeks of summer surf camp in Pismo Beach & Cayucos Pier, California for youth ages 8 & up. $315 Per 4-Day Camp (M-Th).

 

Pismo Beach: Pre-registration is required through Pismo Beach Recreation, 805-773-7063 or www.pismobeach.org/73/Recreation. Meet at the Main Street round about by the Dolphin Cove Motel.

Cayucos Beach: Pre-registration is required through James, (949) 464-7123.  Meet at D Street and Ocean Front Ave in Cayucos just North of the pier. Look for the blue easy up with our black and white surf school banner.

Camp Details

 This super surf camp has daily surfing instruction, educational curriculum (surfing etiquette, ocean safety, ocean habitat, and environmental awareness) and games. Surfing and boogie boarding will be options. Students will receive free photos and/or videos of at the end of the week. The final day of camp there will be a just for fun surf contest. Each participant must be able to swim the length of a swimming pool with confidence to attend the camp. 1 instructor per 3 student ratio. Wetsuits and soft top surf boards are included. What to bring: towel, sun block, drinking water, snack, and warm layers (in case of wind or fog). 

All of these summer camps are permitted and authorized by The City of Pismo Beach and the County of SLO- Parks and Recreation Departments. We are insured, licensed, and certified. A portion of the camp fees collected are paid to the parks and recreation departments to contribute to the maintenance and operation of the beaches & parks. So you can rest easy knowing that your kids are safe and the money spent is also going back into the beautification of the community.
